The new Paislee shawl is knitted top down and increases steadily with a pretty, lacy edge stitch. The new Sublime skein used here for the top part gives you plenty of color changes and a lovely Herringbone type lace border done in the soft Bambon yarn frames the shawl beautifully.
The crescent shape definitely lends itself for many styling options as you can see in the many photos.
The blocked shawl measures: 77" in overall length and 18" in middle height.

Knit kits include
- A skein of Sublime, 280 yards in 7 changes of textures and colors. One section features a double strand with a single color and a metallic thread, which makes this skein very special. Fibers range from cottons, linens, viscose, rayon, metallic and blends of them.

Notions needed
- US size 10 (8 mm) circular needle 36" (91 cm) in length.
- 13 stitch markers.
- Darning needle or crochet hook for finishing.
Gauge: 11 sts and 19 rows in 4" of stockinette stitch in light fingering weight, first color of Sublime yarn.
Techniques applied: Knitting, purling flat, increasing, color changes, lace knitting, stretchy bind off, weaving in ends and blocking.
